Here is my Rupert The Bear sculpt to celebrate the 100th anniversary of his first appearance in the U.K. Daily Express newspaper. The sculpt still needs a few tweaks but that will come later. One day I hope to resin 3d print this sculpt. Created in Nomad Sculpt
Rupert The Bear. Created in Nomad. Sunday 8th November 2020 marks the 100th anniversary of Rupert The Bear’s first appearance in The Daily Express newspaper.
So here is my creation of a classic annual book cover interpretation of Rupert. Still a work in progress. Created in Nomad Sculpt on an iPad.
Jack Skellington from The Nightmare Before Christmas. Created in Nomad Sculpt on an iPad Air 2. Just a basic base to pose him on. I want to go back and add a better base, scenery and render this in a Blender with Shadows.
The Worm from Jim Henson’s Labyrinth. Sculpted in Forger app. Just need to finish off the rest of his body and tweak a few details.
It’s been a while since I worked on my 1984 Gremlin sculpt. Thanks to the high number of polygons and the sculpt and paint layers in Nomad Sculpt, it’s now easier to get this model finished on the iPad.
In this update I imported my original Gremlin base mesh at a lower detail and did a voxel remesh. I have adjusted the head shape, overall body proportions, separated the limbs into their own objects and a basic paint.
A work in progress of Norman Babcock from the film ParaNorman. Created completely in the new iPad app Nomad Sculpt. This sculpt was created on an iPad Air 2 at about 1.5 million polygons which still runs smoothly.
If you haven’t seen Nomad Sculpt yet then you are missing out! Nomad was released a week ago and has already had an update. It is extremely powerful and a very promising sculpting program.
Spent a little more time on Lenny. Still working out the body shape. Really enjoying using the Forger app. Look on the Apple App Store to find Forger.
Been a while since I made an attempt at Lenny from Gremlins 2. This is a new model created from scratch in the Forger app. Only spent a few hours on him so far so still a lot to tweak. Hopefully I can take the George Gremlin bust I created in the past and make a complete body for him to.
