Recently electrostaticly flocked the E.T. 3d Print from the previous post. Not the right colour but it’s only a test.
Finaly started to use the 3D printer again. So I tried an old model of mine from a while back. E.T the Extra-Terrestrial printed in Pla filament at around 7.5cm tall in low quality. Surprisingly the fingers came out at a couple of millimetres thick. No clean up just support material removed.

Just a small update to the Captain Picard bust in 123D Creature. I’m running out of polygons for the comm badge, but I will create another model for this. Hopefully I will increase the detail and pose in Zbrush ready for 3D printing.
Here is the print of the Brainy Alien. Printed at a resolution of 0.1 mm at a height of 10cm in PLA.
A concept idea of a woodland sprite incorporating elements of the woodland. The spikes on the head are based on the case of a concker seed. Created in 123D Creature with detail and making model print ready in Zbrush.
Seeing that it’s May 4th, a Star Wars post.
Darth Maul created in 123D Creature and printed on the Ultimaker 2. Detail resolution of 0.1mm, using Ultimaker blue PLA and stands 10 cm tall. No big changes from the 123D Creature model apart from clean up and stand. Due to print errors the model has had a little sanding.
