Star Wars 40th Anniversary Fan Exhibit

Today is the 40th anniversary of the premiere of Star Wars A New Hope. So here is a  selection of some of the Star Wars characters I have sculpted over the last few years.

Sketchfab models are best viewed on a PC or MAC for the correct lighting.

Grand Moff Tarkin

I have finally finished the Tarkin model. Created in 123D Sculpt+ and 123D Design on the iPad with final rendering in Sketchfab. Maybe eventually I will correct the facial and polygon errors in Zbrush. But for now it’s finished.

As always it’s best to view Sketchfab models on a PC or MAC. Shadows do not correctly display on an iPad which makes the lighting look wrong.

Adjusted a few of his features in 123D Sculpt+ and added his rank badge and code cylinders using 123D Design on the iPad. Rendered using Sketchfab. I hope to have him finished soon.

I have spent about an hour on this since the last update. I’m getting very close to finishing this model. I still need to add better skin detail, dedicated bump and roughness maps as well as modelling extra details like the rank badge in 123D Design. Created in 123D Creature\Sculpt+ and rendered in Sketchfab.

Just a small update working on his features. Still sculpting symmetrically. When I’m happy with the shape I will make it asymmetrical. Created in 123D Creature/Sculpt+.
